殘疾婦女研討會2008(東亞及東南亞)已於二零零八年一月七日至九日假香港城市大學完滿舉行。 整個研討會合共有三百多人出席，其中約三分一為本地殘障婦女，另外三分二與會者分別來自國內及其他不同地區， 計有：美國、日本、韓國、菲律賓、印尼、蒙古、澳洲、馬來西亞及泰國等。

是次研討會以『創意與方案為本』為大會主題，期望達致以下目標：

• 聯繫亞太區關心殘疾婦女權益的組織及人士；
• 分享、發展及交流各項提供殘疾婦女生活質素的政策和經驗；
• 共同策劃具創意及可行的方案，以提升殘疾婦女地位的未來策略。

• To network women with disabilities in the Asia-Pacific region;
• To share, develop and disseminate information for improving the living environment and life choices of women with disabilities; &
• To inspire new ideas for promoting equal rights of women with disabilities.
